Set up by decision of the UNIDROIT Governing Council, the UNILAW Data Base is intended to permit ready access by Governments, judges, arbitrators, practising lawyers and scholars to up-to-date information regarding uniform law conventions and other instruments. The data base is in both English and French and is expected to cover a large number of uniform law instruments. Work started on the 1956 Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) and is continuing with other conventions.
Lists of the cases available to the Secretariat are provided for each convention. The lists are pdf documents and are updated regularly.
The information in the tables will be entered progressively. Thus, information on the articles applied in the single cases and information on the sources of publication will be entered as soon as possible. The column on sources of publication will give the abbreviations used for the legal periodicals in which the cases, or summaries of them, are to be found. A list of the abbreviations used can also be found on this website.
The column “Insertion” indicates what has been inserted for each case (basic references, full text, issues, keywords, English Summary, French Summary, or Complete in both languages).
The cases are given a UNILAW registration number when they have started to be processed.
Please note that dates are set out in the following order: day/month/year.
The UNILAW Data Base is under construction. The information it contains is therefore not complete. What UNILAW is intended to do, is provide a more effective tool for research by analysing and classifying the materials it contains. The Editors are grateful for any indications of integrations or other necessary modifications. |

Créée par une décision du Conseil de Direction d’UNIDROIT, la base de données UNILAW a pour but de permettre aux Gouvernements, aux juges, aux arbitres, aux avocats et aux chercheurs d’avoir accès à des informations à jour sur les conventions et les autres instruments de droit uniforme. La base de données est accessible en anglais et en français et on prévoit de couvrir un grand nombre d’instruments de droit uniforme. Le travail a commencé avec la Convention de 1956 relative au contrat de transport international de marchandises par route (CMR) et continue avec d’autres conventions.
Chaque convention est accompagnée par une liste des décisions disponibles au Secrétariat. Les listes sont en version pdf. et sont mises à jour régulièrement.
Les données sont insérées progressivement. Par conséquent, les informations relatives aux articles appliqués dans les décisions, ainsi que les informations concernant les sources de publication seront ajoutées aussitôt que possible. La colonne des « sources de publication » contient les abréviations utilisées pour les périodiques juridiques où les décisions, ou leur sommaire, se trouvent. La liste des abréviations est publiée sur ce site web.
La colonne « insertion » indique ce qui a été inséré sur le site pour chaque décision (référence de base, texte intégral, table des matières, mots-clé, sommaire en anglais, sommaire en français ou complet dans les deux langues).
Les décisions sont identifiées par un numéro d’enregistrement dès qu’elles sont en cours de traitement.
Veuillez noter que les dates sont indiquées selon l’ordre suivant: jour/mois/année.
La base de données UNILAW est en cours de préparation.Les informations disponibles ne sont donc pas complètes. UNILAW a pour but de fournir un instrument de recherche plus efficace grâce à l’examen et à la classification des informations y contenues. Les rédacteurs de ce site seront heureux de recevoir des suggestions d’intégrations ainsi que de tout autre modification nécessaire. |
